お見舞いメールを頂き困惑
同じ小さな一国なのに、ここ大阪ではエアコンつけて飯喰って、
普通に暮らしていることが申し訳なく感じると同時に、ふと不思議にもなる。
3月12日朝、マツカフォニックスの講習に行く道も不思議な気分になった。
なんで普通に地下鉄乗って、普通に西中島南方のモスバーガーで朝ごはん食べているのだろう…と思った。
環太平洋地震帯の上で暮らす私たち。
なのに想定外のレベルとは一体、何？
もともと計り知れないエネルギーが噴出しても不思議じゃない場所に、私たち、日々暮らしている？

地殻変動は100年や200年の計測や記述では答えにならないことはド素人の私だってわかる。近世も中世もずっと大地震と大津波はあった。
地球の年齢は？と問われれば46億年らしい。46億才の地球に暮らしている私たち。大陸の沿岸の形はジグソーパズルのように横々で当てはまる。計り知れない力の地殻変動があったことは小学生にだってわかる。火山学者、地質学者の人達のお話を聞きたい。
一体私たちはどこに住んで、どんな暮らしをすればいいんですか？
震災の翌日からずっと続いた国外からのお見舞いメール。
そのうちMargaretからのを貼り付けます。英国からです。

It’s SO good to hear from you. My heart goes out to you and all the suffering Japanese people. Words are not enough to describe feelings at this time.
Auntie May is also concerned about you, I’ve reassured her that you’re ok.We had a family lunch party in our house to celebrate her 90th birthday last month. 27 people in our place!! Jings!! It was like the Broons!!
Margaret has been in hospital since December and is to go into a nursing home. She’s not fit to live in her own house again, she needs 24 hr nursing care,but is very comfortable and in her own little world.
As I wrote yesterday you have to be strong, after all life carries on. It’s unbelievable, I agree,we get up as normal, go to work, have lunch and yet…..so many people are in misery!
